Hi, I’m Hushmath!

I am a certified executive coach, and I absolutely love coaching people to realize their personal and professional ambitions.

I help my clients show up as visionary and transformational leaders without sacrificing their wellbeing. My coaching approach revolves around three key pillars: wellness, behavior change, and high performance–and is designed to get results fast, so clients can maximize their time and impact. Although I coach leaders across all sectors and industries, I am particularly passionate about supporting women of color and catering to their unique needs and challenges.

Over the past 16 years, I’ve worked in high-stress corporate, agency and startup environments with experience in learning and development, human centered design, strategy, and advertising. I’ve led teams of 5-20 people, created leadership development programs, worked closely with VP+ leaders, and facilitated workshops for over 500 people. These experiences have honed my ability to create safe spaces for people of all backgrounds and amazing learning experiences designed to help people consistently perform at their best. I also hold a certification from CoachDiversity Institute, the world’s first coach training institute that focuses on serving diverse communities.

In addition to 1:1 coaching, I love running workshops on topics like productivity, wellbeing, managing stress and uncertainty, high performance, creativity, and inclusive leadership. I’ve been asked to speak at Capital One, BlackComputeHER, Design for DC, and mastermind groups for entrepreneurs.

Meaningful conversations energize me, including any opportunity where I can help someone get unstuck and envision new possibilities for themselves. Outside of work, you can find me:

  • Exploring: Taking walks in nature, trying a new café in town, or snapping pictures during my travels are a few of my favorite things.
  • Learning something new: As a lifelong learner with many interests, I love to listen to audiobooks, podcasts, or take classes that help me continuously grow and develop new skills.
  • Being creative: I enjoy creating calligraphy art pieces and cooking (including artfully plating my food) as a way to de-stress.
